Cows

Edward's age is beginning to catch up to him, causing him to make clanking sounds. One day, Edward has to pull some empty cattle wagons to a nearby market town. Near the line is a field where some cows are grazing, and they are startled by the noise from the train. As Edward passes by, a number of cows escape the field, charge across the line and break a coupling, disconnecting the last truck and the brake van from the train. It is not until Edward gets to the next station that he and his driver realise what has happened.
