In this video, I talk about getting friend requests from random people and my standards about it.
I also share a video from a public speaker named Trent Shelton about making friends. I hope you guys check him out.

Yeah I don't really see the point of having "friends" on the internet. And by friends I mean people I rarely if at all talk to. My friends are people I actually know in real life. There are a couple people I do talk to online but I wouldn't call them a friend more like an internet chat pal. You never really know someone fully unless you live with them though or hang out with them for a long time. And sometimes even then you don't really know them. Trust isn't something I just give out and I always keep my personal life separate from what I do on things like Vidlii or YouTube. The more you separate your online stuff from your personal stuff the better off you'll be. Some people share WAY too much about themselves online and that can be dangerous.

@RisingPhoenix Very well said, bro. Yeah, I have a lot of chat pals, but a couple friends. I'd rather have three REAL friends than 50 pretenders. Anyone can be a good actor/actress.
Choose your friends wisely and keep your circle small.

I know, right? Somebody even openly said that they don't really give a flip about me. So, right on!

I see what you mean and I used to do that with people, consider people I know as friends, but not as much these days since you can't trust everyone. I've learnt that the hard way myself. :3

@joshthejosher I agree. I'd rather have a very few friends than over 100 fake ones. :D

@Physical I wouldn't completely turn them off. If you have some of your real friends on social media, you'll wanna have them on your list and follow them, won't you? 🙂
