Following the Success of The Hanna Barbera 80's Pac Man Cartoon,Dic Entertainment Attempted to produce an Animated Adaptation of another popular Namco Licensed IP,which is the 80's Pole Position Cartoon produced by Dic Entertainment with music Composed by Haim Saban and Shuki Levy
The show features the Darretts, a family of stunt-driving crime fighters, who investigated and thwarted wrongdoing while operating under the front of a traveling show known as the "Pole Position Stunt Show", which was sponsored by the United States government in order to give cover for their investigative activity and provide maintenance for the high-demand vehicles.[2] The Darretts had two adult children and a third child who was much younger in age. A road accident ended the life of the parents, and the father's younger brother, known as Uncle Zack, took charge of the stunt show.

So. You're telling me. THEY MADE A CARTOON ON POLE POSITION? NAMCO'S POLE POSITION?
@StarBomberRevice2021 At first this really doesn't look like Pole Position AT ALL. Because well, they're not even in F1 cars.
@jamesthe64 true,to be fair though,alot of video game cartoons in general from that era in the 80s and 90s didn't always follow the source materials,the only thing this show has in common with the namco arcade game is,you had a red car called Wheels and a blue car called Roadie,thats pretty much it:P but thats what made them pretty weird and fun back than heh,for example the 90s street fighter cartoon didn't exactly follow 100% to the games either.
