@CUM11 They are not caused by either. There are not experiences where people change their sexuality. Converstion therapy and things like that have been proven to 1. not work and 2. just traumatise the victim. Homosexuality is not a personal choice eather. When did you choose to be straight?

@IAmAFrog first of all conversion therapy doesn’t work nor did I ever claim it did, also it has been scientifically proven that people who experience some form of abuse or misfortune during their childhood are more likely to have same sex attraction and partners, hence the study I linked: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3535560/#S8 .

And also sexuality is widely accepted as a spectrum by most professionals, so hypothetically someone could, through some unknown, long process, go from homosexual to heterosexual.

Also I chose to be straight when I chose to want children of my own in a healthy relationship.
