ActRaiser (Super Famicom) - Birth of the People (2A03+163 Cover) by Andrew Ambrose (5-26-2022)

I recently started playing Quintet's debut game, the Super Famicom action RPG classic ActRaiser, and I love it to bits. The song that you will most likely hear the most is a little ditty known as Birth of the People, which is the main theme that plays during the city building portions of the game. Its jaunty rhythm and vibrant chords and use of instrument samples have quickly gotten it stuck in my brain and made it an instant favorite with me, so of course I had to make a cover of it. While not perfect, I still am pleased with how I managed to bring together the PSG of the Famicom's 2A03 and some Namco WSG wavetables via the 163 sound expansion for some amazing harmony, and I'm amazed with how I managed to get a good feel for the volume control (for the most part anyway). I hope you guys get a kick out of this one, and be sure to check out ActRaiser if you can, as it's a high recommendation from yours truly. ^w^
