YouTube has finally decided to pull the plug on video annotations entirely, so let's take a look back at the history of the feature, and see where it all went wrong.

You did not mention "Let's Jabs" at all they were some of the best things on YouTube and now that Google removed them those videos have lost all the witty comments and good humour in the annotations that made great but not only were a great product of their time. I really hate google for this and I did not even know this was going to happen. I only found out last night when I was going to archive these videos only to find out this had been removed.

I only hope VidLii will introduce annotations, even better collaborative annotations so the Lets Jabs can rise again and maybe recreate the ones we lost.

This is a pretty good video! Just a bit too much filler, but other than that, this was really well made.
