Honestly, for me, not really. But not because I hate it, no. I'm just not really big on PlayStations. But I completely agree with the native hardware part. A few months back, my dad asked when I told him "I would get a 3DS if I could" he's like, "why would you do that if you could emulate it?", and whilst I get that point too, it's fun to use the native hardware, and especially with these consoles being locked off of the internet (unless you change some settings *cough cough pretendo*, it also allows for modding them without any repercussions from said company.) now the thing is, if I could get one.... I'm fuckin tired of people who use old tech for their shitty aesthetic posts, because these consoles are so much more than that.

I'm convinced that any older console is now a lot more valuable, especially since you can mod them. My old PS3 has found new life through modding.
Also, I vastly prefer enjoying music and videos through anything other than a phone whenever possible. Stuff on the internet can always be taken down, but if it's on a device's internal storage, I have access to it until the hard drive rots.
