My Christmas podcast was cut short due to technical difficulties on my laptop and Discord not picking up my voice.

What is Discord?

"Discord" is a chat application, kind of like Skype. It has servers, for more public conversations. Think of it as like chatrooms. It also has private messaging and groups, if that's more your thing. It has text chat, voice chat, video chat, and screen sharing, like Skype. What sets it apart from Skype is that it does not slow down your CPU as much, allowing you to do more things in the background.

With a lot of family in for Christmas, I am not available like I would like to be, but after Christmas I can help you figure out what you can do for future pod-casts. Zoom is a good option, but you will have to record the pod-cast and down-load, then edit and up-load to You Tube. The only one I know of that shares directly to You Tube besides Google Hang Outs is Spreaker. I will talk to you more about that when I can.
