YouTube is causing yet another epidemic and wants to slowly kill off it's old userbase. They are targeting the mainstream media (A.K.A Normies in other language) who mainly watch cable and vines.

I'm keeping my subscription because I like the service. I dislike using an adblocker for YouTube videos but I hate ads and I actually watch the YouTube Originals, so it's just a simple namechange for me. I mainly have the subscription because I use the hell out of Google Play Music and YouTube Red/Premium is just a bonus for me

@Cazzy I see. So it is actually working in parts of Europe like I said in this video. Of course it would also pop-up on the UK version of YouTube. 😄

@TCT101 Yep, haha. Though when YouTube Red/Premium first came out, it never showed on UK YouTube or let you get it if you wanted it, so it only recently did. I'm not bothering with it anyway. xD

From my recollection, YT Red gave the creators more money if you watched their stuff and were monetized, so I wouldn't say they would lose money (unless they got rid of that here). Really, Premium is just Red rebranded, and I could care less about it.
