The End Of An Era: YouTube To Remove The Personal/Private Messaging System On July 9, 2018

Now you need to send a contact link to talk to some one. They rip-off Messenger, like everyone else! I will miss the old message, but seriously:
1. You need a PC.
2. You need to click the message thing.
3. The creator must go to Creator Studio, then Community -> Messages.
4. End.

This new message system is much better, and because I come from the future, on your browser, there's some bubble with the share icon on it. You can send a friendship link to other people and then talk about stuff and sharing videos and also be a group. I like the "new" messaging system better, but it's just a rip-off of Messenger.

We're sorry, but because the message system was a good way to get your MESSAGE to a creator without drowning in a "sea of comments", we have decided to remove this system. Thanks for reading, thanks for supporting our scummy practices, and on to the NEXT removal...

Maybe the PM feature would've been used more if it wasn't so hidden!

Seriously, it takes three clicks just to access your own inbox, and the only easy way to send messages is to go to (of all things) that person's about page.

Why would anyone who isn't a monetized """"""""""""""""""""""content creator""""""""""""""""""""""" even bother with that site anymore? It hasn't been a fun place to hang out with your online friends for many years now.

Maybe if this weren't so hidden like the old YouTube it weren't, more people would have used it. Damn, why must they remove this? YouTube is going to shits.

This music physically hurts me

Youtube had already removed it for years. They quietly brought it back recently, then were like welp no one is using this system we didn't tell them was back so might as well can it again.

susan wojcick is slowly destroying youtube (or nazatheistube if you prefer) , i recently have heard that the bizarre "children" videos of youtube is CIA's mind controll (not sure about this)

This is sad. Google keeps removing stuff. And nobody can stop this.
There are YouTube alternatives like this website, VidLii, but people still use YouTube because it's the most popular site. Why can't Susan get fired already?

What they will remove next:
- Thumbs down (so people can't have negative opinions)
- Comments (so people can't have opinions)
- Access from first Windows, Mac, and Linux computers (only Chromebooks), then from computers altogether (since hurr phones are future)
- Anything that isn't mainstream content uploaded by companies
- Uploading
- Accessing the site
