ABANDONED: Cape Cod Factory Outlet Mall
The Cape Cod Factory Outlet Mall was first developed into a shopping center in 1972 as an indoor outlet mall, but by 2012 was developed into an outdoor plaza.
The Outlet mall was demolished in 2011 to build the new plaza, as the property had been purchased by Compass Bourne LLC.
In June of 2012, Market Basket opened on the property to the public, as well as the new strip mall, which houses Van Heusen, Verizon, iZod, and some other stores.
