Even MAGA isn't really counter-cultural considering hes president rn and theres lots of them. But Stuff like that probably is the closest thing to counter-culture these days considering there was at least 3 attempts on his life and 2 of them were before he got in office. It's clear that powerful people REALLY wanted him gone.
There's also people who go out of their way to protect their privacy and data from big tech, which tbh these days kinda IS counter-cultural. I guess that makes amish people the truest of counter-cultures still around. lmfao

@guitaranhero Its kinda a fuzzy line because electropop was the main inspiration for hyperpop (and prior to that, there was "PC music"), but I normally associate hyperpop with the chipmunk distorted combo like what 100gecs was doing.
It's kinda like how in the 80s there was synth pop and then in the 2010s there was a washed out vaperwave aesthetic that was like a washed out version of 80s synthpop with those old beige computers that eventually lead to synthwave.
