How I make the MOST Realistic Grass Detail Sprites EVER!!

Here is my method for producing photo realistic AND TRANSPARENT grass sprites (cards) without using any procedural hocus pocus software (substance designer). thats right we are doing it the old fashion way, WITH AN EPSON SCANNER (or a camera) and REAL ACTUAL REAL GRASS!?!?!??!?! WHAT!??!?!?

This can be super useful for anyone doing 3d environments in any game engine or even 3d pre rendered scenes

I actually first came up with this idea while i was considering making my own super detailed, but well optimized tree models for hogsmeade. I originally intended to scan in some basic bits of a tree then combine them into small branches, then convert those to sprites of their own, using those as the final parts of the actual tree so it would only take up a single flat quad instead of however millions of polys it would take to actually model those small details.

Wow real grass for realistic grass? Thats awesome!! I've always downloaded realistic grass image to make texture, but the texture isnt realistic
