Windows 98 in 2005? Most people used then Windows XP or Windows 2000

I was very happy with Windows 98 until 2008 when it started run internet bad. And even if i wanted XP (which i did) We buyed old Dell with windows XP. But i could not use it since my dad was mostly on it.
cool. i used windows 98 for a while. I know i was still using windows 98 after windows vista came out. I still have the computer but it has been retired now.
Why didn't you get Windows XP?
We already had Dell Dimension 4300 With Windows XP. But i could not use it. Since my dad was mostly on it doing his work etc...Soo i had to use our old family pc which we find in basement 2002 or 3. idk.
but later in 2009 i got mine Windows XP laptop. Which was had update to Windows Vista and then 7.
