I HATE re-installing Windows. I had to on my desktop PC once or twice and on my old my laptop. Not fun. I HATE bloatware.

Oh, you could have used a USB Linux and take from the hard drive everything important you had, that's what i did when i went back to Windows 7 because i didn't like Windows 10, and the system was corrupted.
