(more info)
This website attempts to rebuild all the old Google search layouts using Google Custom Search. In this video, we'll be looking at the 2009 and 2010 versions. (2010 is the most complete)
NEW Address: oldgoogle.neocities.org
http://oldgoogle.890m.com/search-home.aspx
http://oldgsearch.blogspot.com/
https://www.vidlii.com/user/evancunningham

To install the userstyle shown in video, copy the CSS from here: https://pixeldra.in/u/3DZmW7

Caveat, incompatible with the "Order by" filter/button. Block the following in uBlock Origin:
oldgoogle.890m.com##.gcsc-branding
oldgoogle.890m.com##.gsc-orderby

Browser shown is Pale Moon with the Aeromoon theme and rebrand-xpi to make give it the Firefox branding. See this video for details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFpimon_cvY

inb4 anyone asks: its windows 7 with a theme.... cap'n userstyle has spoken :^)

@11ryanc About the 2009, its very incomplete, and I'm consider adding your css to a style element inside the 2009 result page

Also, none of the fraudulent/virus/malware warning you might receive are true about the site. Its most likely just the domain and login copy (non-functional) are throwing it off.

I actually own the site, my name on VidLii is fake (I'm really Ittr Grey) and I want to change it (but I can't because they never added it).
Send your thoughts, suggestions and ideas for oldgoogle.890m.com to:

ittr23@gmail.com

Warning: Please note we can't add stuff like functional login, SSL or stuff similar as we aren't here to make money.

When you send the ideas, I will read them and reply to you with the result of I can add the features or not.

@MacromediaMonkey I've talked to a few people with this problem. I guess the similar url to google.com and fake login page are throwing it off. Cox must see it as fraudulent. Try changing to your DNS to something like Google DNS, or OpenDNS.
I didn't know it was Cox's place to police the internet. pfft I thought Comcast was bad enough.

That's because they're using a Hostinger free hosting subdomain and that company is notorious for scam hosting.

@Scarlet I don't have money to use real hosting and its 000webhost thats known for scam hosting. It's the non-functional login page and similar to google.com domain that triggers it.

Man, I'm getting an old dell inspiron (6400 I think) but with fucked LCD (will HOPEFULLY replace) so this, VidLii and Palemoon themed like FF3 would be ultimate 2009 experience XP

that's true. I guess it's always a trade off in the end

@4dojo Yeah definitely. But I like how modern image search engines will give you a preview without actually redirecting you to the website the image is hosted on. So it's really a compromise. I switched over to the 2009 replica, but use Yahoo or Bing Images to search pics.
