@PrincepsLunae I would say that it's about balanced though, as the epoch of greater potential comes in hand with everyone also having access to tiktok and internet furry porn to successfully rot away 80% of what prefrontal cortex could have been used to learn how to write like H.P. Lovecraft (who had a very cute cat by the way).
Even then, the majority of people smarter than me who I meet are going in an entirely meaningless direction, and it took not just intelligence but randomly figuring things out to even begin to become somewhat significantly mentally disciplined.
