Thunder Force IV is a shoot'em up game released by Technosoft in 1992, for the Mega Drive console. Is also known as Lightening Force - Quest For The Darkstar.
Galactic Year 892. In the last two years the Federation collected information about the existence of the subsystem "Vios", which could be called the heart of Khaos. Considering this, the Galactic Federation mobilizes all of its power and embarks on a search for this new menace.

Thunder Force IV is a true audiovisual experience that pushes the capabilities of the console beyond the limit. The graphics are colorful, with multiple scroll planes and a multitude of enemies, and the soundtrack is simply masterful. In addition to its technical virtues, the game is a lot of fun and has a very well adjusted difficulty curve.
