Nintendo's Weird 3DS Censorship
This is the special uncensored sorta, vidlii version with the jokes that are not allowed on yt.
Does anyone else remember the weird restrictions that nintendo had on the 3ds back in the day? This is a video I made in 2015 but with a lil extra rage from more recently tacked on the end.
I could make a whole video talking about how the 3ds was so cool yet so lame at the same time.

The writing was on the wall 10 years earlier; gamefreak can't into transferring pokemon across console generations. You couldn't transfer from RB/GSC then and you can't transfer from XY/ORAS now. Your pokemon will live on forever on emulators though...
Side note: I'm happy this video doesn't have the usual youtube censorship (i.e. "pdf file", "cheese pizza") hopefully all videos on vidlii are like this.

i didnt even know the first part was from 2015 like everything felt like you made it today so i assumed that until you pointed it out. like your voice and your video style and jokes are the same as today back then. its like when i watched american history x and was shocked when i heard the movie was from 1998 because all the neonazi references and arguments in the movie felt exactly like todays neonazis
im mostly mad at nintendo for sending a c&a letter to SML and forcing them to delete all their youtube videos with nintendo characters. theres reuploads of og sml online but still it would be better watching it on the original channel with the original comments and original view counter and maybe even ad revenue too
The 3ds was such a great console, if only Nintendo wasn't in their anti-consumer phase during it's life span.
It's gonna be so fucked up when NIntendo officially disconnects porke bank form the 3ds. A big fuck you to all your oldest customers.
OOOohohhhhhohoooo. Don't even get me start on the problems with Pokemon. I can rant an hour over that. Also, I skipped X & Y, looked like baby shit and when I heard about the game difficulty I felt pretty vindicated.
@TheSpoilsofWrath It is, but it ain't like the ones before it weren't also piss easy. I heard Legends Arceus was good but haven't played it, last Pokemon game I really played and enjoyed was... Clover.

@rebelyeller23 Clover? Is that a rom hack? Also, it seems like the only good games in the series are the Legends games. I know despite Nintendo releasing a barebones beta, I did have fun with Arceus the one time I played it. I think the major factor behind Legends is that, Nintendo finally did something new with their IP, and they executed that new thing fairly well.

I had a homebrew on my old 3DS in 2018 that could export saves for all the 3DS Pokemon games, along with editing anything and everything. You should try to set that up

@TheSpoilsofWrath did they ever drop a rom? i stopped browsing the pokemon threads when the terraleak happened after like a week cuz it was all techno-mumbo jumbo, and i certainly ain't a coder.
@Renegaurdian2005 As far as I know, he didn't leak the entire game or the source code or stuff like that. Don't quote me on that, but I feel like one of the many youtubers would have mentioned it if the hacker did.
The last Nintendo shit I bought was the Gameboy Advance.

Man you're missing out, modern 3ds homebrew is super convenient. I dumped all my pokemon saves through godmode9 the same week i modded it. And I'm a total retard when it comes to technology.

@ShyStudios Just be careful when you do it. Before Nintendo discontinued the 3ds, those cocksuckers sent out an update that bricks your system if you try to home brew it.
