going back to freebsd

I'm sorry about the lack of content lately I just moved to a new place and installed freebsd on my desktop using the icewm window manager because I wanted to return to monkey https://ice-wm.org/

FreeBSD + IceWM sounds like a lovely combo. I hope the user experience has been a pleasant one. Last time I tried FreeBSD I came close to liking it but ran into numerous issues with the build scripts not functioning properly and admittedly expecting certain GNU coreutil behavior that obviously wasnt there because well, this is BSD. I ended up settling with Slackware which is my 'return to monkey' in a way and things went a lot smoother for me there, but perhaps if I gave FreeBSD another try I would like it.

also welcome back from your hiatus :D
