This is a 5 minute video rant that I have made about the WWE Network in Canada. WWE Network is an online streaming service like Netflix that offers every WWE programming made. I just don't like how it is. You cannot subscribe without being tied to a TV Provider! It's just ugh... The people who live in the United States do not have to do this. It's all online in the United States!

@11ryanc When you type in wwe.com/wwenetwork into your address bar and hit enter, the website directory takes a look at your IP address first to see what country you are in. For example, if your IP address is in Canada, wwe.com/wwenetwork redirects you to this watch WWE Network in Canada page, where you need a Canadian TV provider in order to subscribe. It's still pretty dumb to be honest with you. Since Cable subscription costs are high, and you are paying that on top of your WWE Network subscription for example if you want it.

However, if it detects that your IP is in United States, it redirects you to the normal online portal as usual for the Americans where you can subscribe to the online service only. No TV provider required in the United States. It sucks though. Canadians are sort of left behind... Not sure about how other countries work though when accessing wwe.com/wwenetwork... But yeah, I did hear about websites going strict about using VPN's myself, *cough* Netflix *cough*

@RuthlessIntake For sure it's a problem with their servers, and they cannot realize this fact when everyone else is complaining on the WWE Network Facebook Page Vistors Posts section about this. It is not a problem with my internet either, nobody else was using it at this time in the house except me, once again, it could be their servers. While I was live-streaming WWE Battleground 2017 live on my Playstation 4 to my HDTV on Sunday night, I noticed skipping, I noticed low quality buffering issues, and I noticed freezing as well. Get your shit together with your servers, WWE... They are a rich million dollar company, and they can't do that? -_-

WWE Network in the U.S ain't any better here either. Tried watching some NXT but will randomly buffer throughout the taping. And, it wasn't my Internet either doing that bogus crap since it has full bars. It's ridiculous.

Is the service going by IP geolocation, or payment details? You can easily get a VPN subscription (fairly cheap) and connect to a US server. Issue with that is some websites are getting smart and blocking VPN access to their services. I'm an American LIVING in America, but I have to disable Torguard whenever I go to watch something on Prime Video. You can circumvent that by purchasing a static IP from the VPN provider.
What a load of crap in the end though. It's just an example of the dying business model that is pay-TV subscriptions drowning and trying to have a last breath, lol. My parents still use DirecTV, but even it's cheaper than cable (albeit still costly). Comcast internet is close to $100/mo, DTV bill is like $70.

WWE Network sucks in the US too. Provides cards but want you to put in a credit card just to sign up so you can't use the card for free WWE Network viewing really cause they'll try to charge you through the credit card.

@Aaronshy Yes I know, this comment is 11 months old and I am replying to it.

So, you tried that 3 month pre-paid card that WWE provides for WWE Network right? They say that a credit card is not needed to redeem the code on the card, are they lying to their users? I wonder? 🤔

@TCT101 Turned out there was 2 sites both run by WWE but one insists you sign up with a credit card while the other doesn't. Which means one site is for those that want to pay tons of credit card money and they are technically the same site cause you can get to one through the other.
