Absolutely agree with the 360 disc drives complaint. ANything to make our lives THAT much harder, eh Bill? Fucking cocksmokers, man. DOesn't help that their optical lens for the disc readers burn out faster than any fucking console/

ps3 was a fucking disaster. it was all downhill after ps2/
@TheSpoilsofWrath that depends on your personal tastes. i like killzone, i'm a big wipeout fan which is PS exclusive, hd fury has the best multiplayer of the newer wipeout titles. and if you have a good ps3 model then you get the full ps1 and ps2 library on one console, can save them to your hard drive with WebMAN. aside from more modern emulators, a ps3 is the best way to play Raycrisis, WipEout 3. etc. you also get blu-ray support, Samba sharing instead of windows media... it's a box for turbo-nerds and the price is because of all that luxury bloat.

just feel lucky you're not a car mechanic. Modern cars where most of it is in one piece making it near impossible to fucking repair without it getting incredibly expensive/
@madarao easier said than done. especially after Obomber's clunkers for cash program. In my case, I got lucky. But as time goes on, it will get harder and harder to come by older cars. Which is brutal because new cars are completely unaffordable!
Don't get me started on the computerized cars that freak out and crash, burning their owners alive. That's happened twice in my town. When they aren't killing people, they make driving so annoying. The most awful car door handles, engines that turn off when idling, the fucking robot that keeps annoying you to keep your eyes on the road, even when you haven't moved your eyes for a second! The stupid fucking button or dial transmission! I can go on and on!

You can ask @gligar about (the tiny-but-mighty) USB-C and the awesome bent ports and laptop destruction he experienced during his time doing laptop repair
@shingo I saw trashed USB-C ports a lot but after I quit I learned from watching parts-people on YT part of why USB-C boards suck is the PD controller fails. You can spot that if the board refuses to charge on all ports at once.

no the video isn't 44 minutes long. kdenlive decided to insert a random ghost clip into my project that i can't delete lol
@madarao to solve the ghost clip problem on kdenlive. just split any random clip on your timeline and ctrl z it. it should automatically remove the ghost clips at the end by just splitting or deleting a random clip on your timeline.
