Pretentious “essay” calls you stupid cuz it wasted ur time

How do people genuinely watch and enjoy video essays. YouTube is so gay now.

90% of video essays on YouTube are either just "Le trans people bad for being in my movies" or it's "le capitalism bad because I can't afford iphone" or "look at this retard I found on TikTok this proves we are doomed"

and the thumbnail is always a generic looking white/asian man or woman in the middle with tiktoks on the side and the big yellow text explaining what the tiktoks show as if we are blind and can't already see it.

And they always stretch it out to 30-60minutes when I could of explained the same concept within a 2-5minute video if I made it.

I hate those essayslop channels with the yellow text so much I just wanna punch their stupid face when I see it on my feed.
