I try to stay away from pop and cut my coffee to one cup a day if any. Most the time it's water and ice tea I drink. More water than ice tea and only unsweet ice tea cause when they add sugar it can cause problems.

Water is good. If you sweeten tea, may I suggest using stevia. It's sweet, but it does not raise your blood sugar nor affect your weight. Make sure the ingredients do not contain dextrose, maltodextrin, and silica.

I normally don't sweeten tea unless I'm at the Chinese place which I haven't been to for a long time and than it's warm tea and we use stevia...though sometimes I figure even that don't need sweetening.
