Pocket Monsters: Red/Green (Game Boy) - Lavender Town (PC Engine HuC6280 Cover) (10-20-2022)

If The Missing Apples didn't satisfy your Halloween content quota, then this cover probably will. Lavender Town is perhaps the most infamous location in the whole Pokemon series, partially because of its chilling theme song. Regardless of context, the theme of Lavender Town has a very unwelcoming vibe to it with its harsh vibrato and sharp sounds, sometimes to the point of grating on the ears. I've personally always felt that the song should be more melancholic rather than unsettling because of the context, so I thought I'd try my hand at a more somber take on the song. I think this cover was a neat experiment that came out quite well, and I hope you guys enjoy it. ^w^
