What The Fuck Happen To Horror Movies

You gotta watch the creepy pastas and the SCPs to get reeeeaaaal scared

I also prefer to watch classic horror movies. I would rather have suspense and a genuine creepy vibe through out the whole movie rather than a cheap jumpscare... It's really rare that I see a new horror movie that genuinely creeps me out and/or scares me. Most new movies indeed do rely heavily on cheap jump scares.

I, too, prefer suspense as the main focus with a good character build-up first. Of more recent ones I like, "Don't Blink" and "The Boy".
