If your engine can actually target the Amiga, that's pretty cool. Are you abstracting the graphics part to allow software rendering and OpenGL?

@shingo It's not able to target it yet. The current version is PC only, but there will be a modification done to the sprites-only branch to allow rendering with the AGA chipset instead of OpenGL. Using OpenGL directly without a Cybergrafx accelerator would be too slow, and the slimmer models don't have room for those. The nice thing though is that the engine is small and designed for these kinds of rewrites, so once I'm done with everything on the PC side porting won't take too long.

@madarao CLion is the only tolerable way to write C++, so that figures, I've just never seen it look insane like that lol

game engines are super hard to do like i imagine it would take 10years to finish. so 2years. your ahead of schedule for me.
its like building your own factory from scratch to make t-shirts instead of buying an already built factory or paying someones elses factory to make it for you. of course its gonna take along time

@madarao i assumed it would be unity or godot scale of an engine. so im not suprized if it takes even 10years for you to finish one of those
Pretty sick, a basic engine is still an engine, i try to mess around with C every now and then but honestly, idk what im doing most of the time
