Genji takes another sick day

Genji got sick again today. I feel like Norma was making the golden bunny because the bunny was sick. Last night I spent 20 minutes looking for him, only to find him hiding behind a tree the whole time. Could have been a warning sign that he wasn't feeling well. He felt "extra heavy" and was shivering a lot, so it could've been the changing weather. I've been very cold and lethargic these days myself.
It was the first time I saw him in his jammies! He also still had his tapes playing.
Is it me, or have the villagers been getting sick more often now? I've had 3 villagers get sick since the update! Before that, one of them would get sick on an average of every 3 weeks.
