Eh I mean it's old YouTube so what do you expect. It would be nice to have HD videos and all but I think I can tolerate it being downgraded to SD. I just hope VidLii gets some more financial support eventually.

I'm with you on ViddLii getting way bigger. It might be a while but I can see it going against Youtube. That's the hope anyways.

It's going to take time before VidLii can afford to get the servers to allow people to upload past 15 minutes and provide high definition. Unlike YouTube, VidLii has no financial backing, this is all done from scratch. So it will take time before VidLii can flourish to that point. I don't know if you went to the administrators and asked questions, but it would be wise to send a personal message or something.

The HD video is more of a nit pick of mine. i know it wont be a overnight thing. I know a lot of things that I pointed out can be fixed in the future when the site is much larger.

I agree with most of this video, but the HD and unlimited time is just pretty expensive for the current servers and stuff so instead of putting it all into one thing it's spread out so when one thing gets better, other likely do also and it's cheaper to run. This is all based on info previously given by Jan.

I can understand you wanting more than 1GB and 15 minutes in length; but it's actually a lot compared to other websites I've used in the past similar to VidLii. Such as vStreamers and Wenoo, that had more strict uploading requirements. Not sure about the @ symbol, I was able to reply and get a response without using it.

Good points on the limit size since it could be a lot worse. Not to sure whats going with the @ thing but its annoying as shit.
