Sega Genesis was my childhood and I wanted a Dreamcast but never managed to get one. I forget but I think Sonic R was on Dreamcast and what I do remember was I was interested in that.....now we hear how hard it is to control characters and that it was the worst game ever...….and most people blame Dreamcast itself instead of thinking maybe the problem was just with the creators of that 1 game. Dreamcast was (and is) excellent. It have two, and around 100 games.

indeed, dreamcast was ahead of it's time, there was even an arcade board named naomi, that was based in the dreamcast hardware, some capcom games got it's first home console versions on the dreamcast (street fighter 3, for example) due the advanced graphics, and only dreamcast was able to handle it, the problems that caused the discontinuation of the dreamcast was the price and the ps2 (also advanced for it's time, and had more sales because of the DVD support)
