Minecraft Griefing - The Cobblecloud (Spacemonkey Episode 3)

This is the third major griefing incident that we were behind on the Spacemonkey server. We gathered around 3,000-4,000 blocks of cobblestone and attempted to block out the sun over spawn. The goal was to make mobs spawn in the daytime. Unfortunately, the "cloud" was too high up and didn't cast a shadow. We decided to pour water off the structure instead.

We built this rather quickly while crazyps3gamer was mining. He eventually surfaced and saw the monstrosity. He tried to destroy it for at least an hour before giving up and waiting for the admin to roll the server back.

After the last griefing incident, the admin installed GriefAlert. This went well because cobblestone and water were not on the list of "risky" items and therefore didn't appear in the server logs. Sirenfal got banned after the server rolled back, but I convinced the admin to unban him due to the lack of evidence.
