“Cowtape was recorded in like one day, it was a very powerful and productive day with some my favorite Donny moments (left eardrum, blacktop rooftop) and some good Tommy moments (broke my neck, barcode in my mouth). A lot of the songs I had written a couple months prior to the recording so that’s probably why we were able to get it so fast. I tried my hand at tape manipulation for the first time on this tape. Left Eardrum Grasshopper is my favorite song on this tape, Donny knocked it out of the park with that one.” - Jonny Cowtool
