Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 4:5, and John 10:28-30 teach us about salvation by grace through faith alone, that we cannot lose salvation, and that Jesus Christ is God the Son. Jonah 3:10 shows us that turning from sins is works, so it cannot be a part of our plan of salvation. The phrases "repent of sins" or "repent of your sins" is NEVER found in the King James Bible, and this is because "repentance" comes from the Greek word metanoia which means a change of mind (which is often in the context of turning from unbelief to belief).
