Ya know what? I'll expose my latest secret to y'all right now: I'm working on a review of NES Gun.Smoke currently (which explains why I spontaneously uploaded a full playthrough of it about a week ago)! While I was starting work on that review, I thought about the bootleg Master System port done in Korea by Prosoft (which was really just a bootleg SG-1000 port slapped on a Master System cartridge) and how the music sounded weird. That gave me inspiration to make my own proper Master System cover of the first stage theme from the game, and it turned out great (though it's a bit slower than it's supposed to be; Deflemask's tempo options are pretty limited)! ^w^
