@ShyStudios you have to be a usa citizen for .us tho i think, same for numerous other country TLDs
also, .icu and .cyou are less than $1 on some registrars for first-year and less than $3 for renewals, which are significantly less for shitty projects whereas the big TLDs are easily over $10

I can't believe ICANN agreed to the .cyou TLD, its terrible... and unlike other obscure TLDs, you can't make cool shit like black.cat, the only thing I can think of is i.cyou which is garbage. As for ICANN/registrars banning "provocative" domains with specific TLDs, that shit is stupid and I didn't know they did that, it reminds me of stupid requirements ICANN puts in place for certain TLDs, like .cat requiring content on a webpage to be in the Catalan language.
