Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 4:5, and John 10:28-30 teach us about salvation by grace through faith alone, that we cannot lose salvation, and that Jesus Christ is God the Son. Jonah 3:10 shows us that turning from sins is works, so it cannot be a part of our plan of salvation. The phrases "repent of sins" or "repent of your sins" is NEVER found in the King James Bible, and this is because "repentance" comes from the Greek word metanoia which means a change of mind (which is often in the context of turning from unbelief to belief).

@FreeGraceSaves @FreeGraceSaves: You're right, "Independent" Baptists may not be so; I attended an IB church for 1.5 years. But you must know that's an exception, like the Amish. The majority of churchgoing women now pursue careers instead of a woman's place in the home. Women were to be silent in the church, didn't vote, didn't choose their mates, etc. etc. The earliest recorded churchmen were absent from this faggotry & also absent from OSAS or POS.

@FreeGraceSaves @FreeGraceSaves: Three of the strongest in my opinion are 1st Cor.10:12 & Heb.4:11, which warn believers not unbelievers, not to fall. Slip on a banana peel & fall? No, fall from grace. Grace to no grace = salvation to no salvation. #1 1st Pet.5:8 Warning *believers* that the Devil walketh about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. It's not a literal lion. And Scripture says not to worry about men killing your body but worry about the killing of your spirit. A person would need help to misunderstand these things.

just to let you know, any preachers are very two faced. you goota watch closely on how they talk. most of the celebrity preachers are actually false prophets talking through humanity

you gotta be aware of how people preach. i never watch ray comfort. But if a person does peach half truth, it's no difference then lies. i'll check it out when i got time
