At first I was worried about VidLii having new owners, but after seeing the improvements that they have already made I feel that they are doing a good job. From this interview it also seems that they have the proper experience to run a site like this.

Really liking the new owners of VidLii! I'm pretty much excited for what the future holds for the site and I want to wish good luck to the new owners in mantaining and improving the site, things has been running smoothly ever since they took over and I hope they manage to keep that smoothness for years to come! :)

I was on ZippCast too, don't recall which year, probably 2014. Honestly forgot it closed so late back in 2017, thought it collapsed a bit earlier, it became deserted way too fast for some odd reason, considering the amount of people crying for a YT alternative and YT's old design and UI.
Glad to see VidLii is still up however! The fact that it's still going right now proves that it did better than ZippCast. (And probably most other YT alternatives too)

You weren't old enough to experience youtube in 2007?

@Zentiel Nope, born in 2000, just turned 21 this past December. I knew about YouTube back then, but I wasn't really old enough to truly grasp it until like 2011/2012, but by that point most people considered the glory era over

I am new to Vidlii and your channel was the first I seen now I am a regular viewer and I keep coming back for more content on here cause its so much like old YouTube. This interview was great and I have high hopes for the future of the site
