Bomberman Likes River Raid! (3-25-2026)
Never heard of Activision's 1982 Atari VCS game River Raid? Feel free to let Bomberman fill you in on it! Clyde from the Pac-Man series is there too for some reason.
Sorry I didn't get out a Bomberman video sooner. At least I did some Kirby plush shorts while handling the other stuff in the pipeline. Since March is Women's History Month, I knew it'd be the perfect time to do a video about River Raid, a shoot'em up pioneer and one of the first ever home video games programmed and designed by a woman. Carol Shaw's place in gaming history is firm and important, so it only made sense to honor it. Plus, it's nice to talk about another Atari game, especially one from Activision. I hope you all enjoy! ^w^
