1.Install tempermonkey (chrome) or greasemonkey (firefox)
2.download this JavaScript https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/976-youtube-right-side-description
3. also if you want the pre 2017 layout, download this
script to force Yotube to revert back to the older layout.

(You might have to download an older version of the script in step 2, as it might be incompatible with the old 2013 layout.)
