Older people hanging out with younger people was never suspect to me growing up, but seeing all the kinds of shit that happens online now, I look at it way more suspiciously. I dunno, I was always friends with people older than me (still am), but as a young teenager I would always lie about my age and say I was older when hanging out with people in their 20s or 30s. Nobody ever tried to do anything weird with me or buy me shit, but if I was a girl that probably would have happened. @shingo yeah i dont like hanging out with younger people nowadays just dosent sit right with me as like you said its pred central on the internet and i dont want the kids that me and my friends do meet to normalize talking to older people as its so easy to get groomed if your like 12 and 13 and all you want is friends, and i also think the internet is too open to minors like all the discord femboy shit and like weird servers/games with older people no doubtably looking to talk to those younger people, and also the fact i am getting older and i dont want to hold my tongue around them and watch my words to not say a certain joke or something id rather just avoid them overall on the internet and thanks lol idk i get pretty parinoid when it comes to viruses so that helps:)
