30:03 The reason that was considered "edgy" during that time was because actually supporting those groups was highly looked down upon. If you were caught even showing an ounce of support to those groups, you were probably going to get beat up & shunned. Sure, it's not like that now these days, but back then, it was definitely considered "edgy".
Being edgy really just means a thing that gets a rise out of people, and it depends on the era. The Charlie Kirk memes are as edgy now as supporting LGBT groups was back in the 90's, if that makes sense.

@YeOldeFellerNoob I just know nowdays. People who Kurt Cobain would of hated would be the edgy people today that's banned from every mainstream thing while he would be another rich pro establishment celebrity in Hollywood yapping about femenism or trump if he was still alive. Probably might even go to that Saudi comedy festival a few months ago. Idk I just have a feeling as soon as he got any amount of money he would stop the larping and be another vaguely left but not extreme celebrity that talks down on commoners for voting for trump or whatever. Celebrities don't really have any morals it's just larping half the time. I just think Kurt Cobain isn't really that cool or anything and the only reason people like him is because he killed himself at a young age and became a martyr for art. Anyone who dies young as a musician will be super glazed by mfs nomatter how cool they were as a person in real life or how good their music was. Idk I just think he and his fans are LARPers
