Super Mario Kart (Super Famicom) - Rainbow Road (Famicom 2A03+163 Cover) (12-19-2022)

One last chiptune cover for 2022! The original Rainbow Road theme from Super Mario Kart has recently become my favorite song in from Nintendo's Mario Kart series. Its powerful chords resonate with me so much that I had to do it justice. In fact, part of my inspiration to make this was a fantastic 2A03+VRC7 cover of Rainbow Road made all the way back in 2008 by a Japanese chiptune artist known as Tappy. While this 2A03+163 cover of mine was made from scratch, I used Tappy's cover as a reference point along with the original Super Famicom version so I could nail it, and I think this was an astounding success.
