VidLii - A Bad Case of Historical Revisionism
VidLii's community has been destroyed over the past 2 years in pursuit of a false idea of old YouTube. Old YouTube was only a Wild West website because it couldn't moderate all its content. The effort it did put into moderation was based on guidelines designed to foster an actual community, and not overwhelming splinter groups that have no respect for the site itself or others.
VidLii's current administration and policies can only lead to the total destruction of its community, and its complete replacement.
For what it's worth, I actually think @MyGenuineSneed is hilarious, and not the kind of channel that actually destroys sites. He's probably the only exception to what I said about no actual videos besides edits being made.

@MomijiInubashiri I never cared about gore on a personal level, the problem has been that it stops the vast majority of people from joining, and caused most people to leave. I want the site to grow, not just be the small group that currently is left and tolerates it. Friends and I have told others about the site, but they shy away from it after seeing gore most of the time.
As for old YT emulation, I don't personally care about that and would much rather see the site go in its own direction, but the focus on it for this video is to counter the notion that YT was intentionally letting shenanigans happen, rather than just being unaware of it. I don't argue that it wasn't a wild west, only that it wasn't the site operators' intention for it to be that way.

i can agree on the gore part and the larp. But people still have the right to post National Socialist content and swastikas and you are not going to take away their rights for that. Either respect that or leave, besides this website does need changes like banning gore. If Vidlii does wind up getting taken over by National Socialists then so be it, I'd definitely make sure it be alot different then how Lolwut would handle it.

There are VERY few people on bitchute actually making original videos, a huge amount of vids are reposts by genx neoboomers via phone screenrecording who don't know how to fucking check if a video has already been uploaded to the site.

Ok no sorry man but the point you're trying to make kinda falls apart right in the middle of the video. The things lolwut described did indeed happen (and I can attest to that as I was there), regardless what the rules and guidelines stated. There is absolutely no revisionism there, it's not how this works, we're just talking semantics here now. I can also assure you every big channel at the time has their subscribers count boosted with bots and alts, you don't have to believe me, YTWatchDog has all documented.

I don't want any slippery slopes. They always end the same way. It would be ironic(ly disappointing) if this website made the same mistakes as youtube; a place where you can't even say the word "die". This site doesn't need to directly mirror old youtube.

You vocalized something I wanted to say for a long time. Vidlii became yet another alternative video sharing platform for "alt-right" kids to dump their sludge on, as if we didn't have enough of those already. All the people who actually produced content were driven away, and now all we get are reuploads of the same lame shit over and over.

@purplesage99 not only dime a dozen but also usually owned by groups who's goal it is to push despair on Americans. They want to make people into victims, usually when people provide solutions (community building, farming, no despair, no victim mentality) they also get banned from these so called "ALT" sites.

@purplesage99 I agree with @SapphireBlue, Rumble is actually good. Also, unlike most of the other sites, it has real entertainment on it, despite still being saturated by blackpill conservative shit. The thing that sets it apart from most others is it was actually launched around 2013, so it's not a new trend-chasing site.
