this is better then every english textbook you can find in a japanese public school.
literally every english class in japan is always a textbook teaching the language through 2characters in a story.
always a generic black or white kid talking to a generic japanese girl always named sakura in every book and just asking how was your day or what sport do you like or what movie do you like in those english textbook stories they use to try teaching english.
and btw. they dont actually ever advance the levels. the same english classes are the same in first grade and in 9th grade ( i didnt go to a normal highschool but i assume they dont advance it either)
like they teach you spelling and how to ask people about their favorite sport or movie and they just repeat the same lectures for 12years of your school. they dont tell you anything new and actually make you fluent.

@SkibidiCoffee only reason i speak english is just because my parents and brothers spoke to me in it and i grew up with youtube videos. its actually my first language. i didnt learn it later on in japan.
