Noggin - Hibernation

Since winter is right around the corner, I thought: "Why not upload this?" So yeah, here's Noggin - Hibernation.

Moose: What if when it got cold out you went to sleep, and didn't wake up till it was warm outside? That's what some animals do.

Winter is hard on animals. It's very cold and hard to find things to eat. So, some animals get through the winter by hibernating, or sleeping all winter.

Black bears, squirrels, hummingbirds and other animals hibernate by slowing down their bodies, staying still, and staying inside. Some animals hibernate for up to 7 months.

Would you want to sleep through winter? Think of all the fun you'd miss!
