Yeah, I am kind of new to vidlii (joined a few months ago) however, it really feels like from comparing the most watched of all time that vidlii has gone from being a website where users simulate old youtube culture, to the best of the past year with vidlii being a website where users that were not on youtube in 2008 imagine what it would have been like if they had been. Very strange, not that I am complaining, but I just want to go and LARP 2008 youtube. Guess I am partly guilty of this because I know old internet culture of that time period very well, but I haven't produced any content for vidlii. I should probably go and create such content while sprinkling in my authentic reuploads of too shitty for 2008 videos. Now I have gone on a rant that no one really wants to hear by screaming it into the internet void.

@Ship Aye man, I hear ya! I actually think you hit the nail right in the coffin there- Funny thing; This video has way more views on here than on Vlare (wonder why). But I've been on VidLii since late 2017, and I've met some really great friends on here that I wouldn't have met otherwise.
It actually took me like 42 video uploads before I finally found my style (I typically make highly edited commentary videos with flashy visuals, much in the vain of EmpLemon). I know I took down the majority of my video discography, and all that remains is the shit posts I've made recently. But it's good to see VidLii, Vlare, and the entire alternative online video sharing community alive; Even though I'm mostly away- busy with other endeavors.
