alright, i've got a somewhat consistent method to getting this shortcut to work without having to respawn.

first, you build up a white miniturbo and build up speed as usual. now, when you jump off the spiral, aim for the leftmost orange tile on the road. make sure that when you jump off, you're going less than 300 km/h, as going faster will cause you to overshoot the road. if you need to turn suddenly at the jump to reduce your speed, turn to the left so as to not get closer to the finish line and risk negating the trick. optimally, this setup will make you land downwards onto the railing on the side of the road, causing you to stay on the road without being propelled upwards off the road.
