Umm JuniorFan, you want to know you why people were downvoting your comment? It's because you're blowing things out of proportion. You're taking four mere seconds of audio way too seriously, and to many your comment came off as butthurt and egotistical, hence the reason your comment got downvoted.

I went to private school originally and it was too religious. I got kicked out and when to public school but i later left a few years later because everyone was inbred and/or ghetto.

So uhh... i vote homeschooling. I got to learn at my own pace and i could go over a subject as many times as i wanted to instead of moving on to new shit everyday.

Which is exactly why I said children should have a choice. Either go to school or go to work. Certain jobs need apprenticeships again. One of them being a butcher shoppe.

I found that I learned much more since leaving school and I do believe that most teachers just relay what's written in the books they use and often lack intelligence outside of the subjects they teach. Just put them on a quiz show and they'll fall on their ass. Here in England we have comprehensive,grammar and academy schools that typically have a leaving age of age 16,(some 18) I attended a grammar school from age 11 to just short of my 16 TH birthday, (you could leave just before 16 back then) I had to wear a full school uniform that comprised of black shoes,black socks,black trousers,white shirt and a tie in house colours, blazer was optional. I left school in late May of 1993. My school at the time had no foreign kids, but did have mixed religious beliefs, but not tied to any faith. Our taxes are not as high as yours and are divided for services such as the council,fire,police education,senior care etc.

That is the thing that concerns me. When teacher get tenure, they can do whatever they want, get paid more, and not have to educate kids the common sense necessary to apply themselves in the real world. Yes, some people becomes successes conforming to corporatist ideologies, but where do you go when applying yourself creatively in the markets? Schools used to teach that without bias back then. Now the education system is getting worse.

i think for once i actually agreed with you. I'm currently in highschool, a freshman to be exact. I haven't experienced every year of schooling yet but from what i have it seems pointless after about 5th grade. Besides maybe algebra i haven't LEARNED anything since then. Also the fact that some teachers are completely biased and grade students they disagree with either more critically than others or just fat out unfairly.

Public Educations is better because you can learn things like the different genders and about religion.

So you would willingly pay more for public education and not learn much? I don't know if you noticed, but foreign nations are smarter than we are. Up until the formation of teacher's unions, America was the most intelligent country. Your property taxes go toward schools. If you live close to a public school, your property taxes are higher.

4:49-4:53 That is the biggest load of BS I heard in quite sometime outside the mainstream media. So, you are telling me and the audience because if you are an atheist, that you need a school for common sense. Last I check, you are suppose to be talking about the difference between the public school and private school systems instead of giving your presumption on religion. Also, why it is common sense for someone to be associated with Christianity knowing you had to mention Catholicism and branches of Protestant based religions? What about those who might go to a mosque or synagogue for private school? So, because I am agnostic, I have no common sense, and because you are probably Christian thinking that it is okay to judge people even though the Bible says otherwise, right? SMFH!

@Juniorfan

And look, coming from myself who used to be an atheist prior to late-2015 when I became more agnostic as I still have a Jewish heart; and also recently happens to be a libertarian (yes, I finally changed my vote to libertarian a couple days ago), I can still respect people who are either Democrats or Republicans, or if anyone is religious, et al; and I can let people believe what people want without them preaching too much.

However you recently became a lot more hotheaded in terms of what people believe. Everyone is still human you know.
