Mini Rant on Vidlii

Even though I don't agree with all of them, you got some pretty valid points:

1) Not really important to be honest.

2) That's a pretty fair point. Although, sadly the site is still relatively small, which means that HD quality would be a struggle for them. And besides, it kind of sticks with the theme (YT 2006). Although, maybe 480p would be good.

3) Another fair point. Sadly though, just like I said in number 2, the site is relatively small, which means that it will be a struggle to change.

4) I'm pretty sure the dark theme is fanmade. Themes from Stylish usually have bugs. I used some of them yesterday on Youtube and all of them had problems.

5) This problem will be fixed. The site is getting very popular, considering the fact that Vidme is now dead too. That will also fix the quality and the video limit probably.

6) "Display Yourself" is still fine to me. And no, I don't think that it's copyrighted by Youtube anymore. They don't use it at all.

I dunno, but worse comes to worse, I've got patreon if partnerships will not let me gain money here. At least I'll get money from fans instead of large corporations. Perhaps that'll be my way of avoiding ads, if they're added and optional. I don't want my viewers to suffer if I have a choice in say.

@massivelegoboy youtube actually had 480p for all users and maybe even 720p around this time or very soon after. Also, partners aren't going to be like they are on YouTube. No one has a partnership when they start out, even when completely verified, and then they apply. You have to meet some semi-high to high standards (I don't know what they are but they were pretty high on vidbit) and Jan judges, himself, you to see if you deserve a partnership. If you get accepted you become a VidLii partner and gain access to partner features. But on YouTube you just make a channel, verify yourself a bunch of times, not have copyright issues or anything, and then become a partner. But all youtube's partners do now is gain access to monetization.

@ROBLOXVIP735 Great to have proof of that. Also we know it's fixed now at least.

@KnotSnappy I don't think partners is a good thing if its gonna be like youtube. Anyway, I feel like the low quality gives it charm. Even if its cheap to make.

@KnotSnappy Yeah it was weird and apparently ROBLOXVIP735 must've had problems too if he brought it up in the vid.

@Aaronshy well, it doesn't work like that, so unless there is something I'm not hearing or messages broke but not for me or the people I messaged or he did something wrong and didn't know how to message or you didn't see them, I don't know what to tell you, sorry

@KnotSnappy I wonder why it took so long to fully verify. I know he didn't block me cause he never got the chance to do that and he said he verified his account via the verification email when I asked so the best I got is it took them a while to realize.

@Aaronshy I don't think it's the last one because they have never been broken or bugged for me and I have been on vidlii since it went up under this name

@KnotSnappy It's working on their side now. It took this long though for messages to work for him. Either they didn't count he was verified or it took them a long time to fix messages....I'm not sure.

@Aaronshy I saw on of your comments and PMs work just fine. They may have blocked you or they didn;t verify their account or something. I use PMs all the time with no problem, it even has a reply feature

@ROBLOXVIP735 yep! I personally love the VidLii logo and i wouldnt like it to be changed, but i guess a lot of people would

Yeah, that logo needs to be used. Or the "Time for a new START" logo.

And finally, I'd love an old Youtube with new features that weren't just google trying to cram it down our throats and be cool. You know, features like a suggestion box-oh wait, we have one!

@massivelegoboy @ROBLOXVIP735 actually, the video quality being low is because it's expensive to increase and takes time. The site is still very new. 360p is coming out for everyone soon and when partners are added they will get 480p.
