The Cosmic Cavalier Namco C15 Project (April Fools' Day Special 2025)

Some of you guys may remember that a long lost prototype arcade game, known as Cosmic Cavalier, was found last year by the folks in the Discord server for The Penny Arcade. Well, an interesting development has popped up quite recently. A former member of the server has taken it upon themself to arrange the entire soundtrack from scratch (minus the sound effects for some strange reason) for the Namco C15 WSG soundchip using Furnace tracker, essentially bringing to life the idea of if Cosmic Cavalier had been developed by Namco around 1983-1985. This lone musician, under the alias Rusty Shackleford, recently contacted me to share their arrangements for them, and I obliged.
